Ansluta Mac G3 till RGB-skärm (ex EIZO T662 m fl)

Mac G3 (G4, G5) och Eizo-skärm.

Har man en 68k Mac ansluten till en RGB-skärm med tre BNC-kontakter
R(ed), G(green) och B(lue) blir det "svar i rutan..." när skärmen ansluts mot en Mac G3. Eftersom Eizo är en mycket bra bildskärm vill man gärna behålla den även med den nya datorn.

Varför fungerar det inte?

You can use the Monitors & Sound control panel or the Control Strip to set a display mode that is supported by both your monitor and the built-in video circuitry. Lösning:
Man behöver en kabel med 5 BNC-kontakter i stället för tre. De 2 nya BNC:kontaktera är för (separerade) synksignaler till bildskärmen. På skärmen finns fem BNC-anslutningar, varav de två för synk inte varit anslutna tidigare.

Ja, så kan du behålla sina gamla pålitliga skärm och jobba vidare...
